Five years ago Rooster was started with the simple vision of being classic. We wanted to create a range of easy drinking beers that would appeal to the Vietnamese market. We wanted to avoid the pretension of craft, the adjuncts, the silly names, the exclusive nature that by nature excludes. Beer can just be beer; beer can be better but better beer can be for everyone! While craft was getting some attention from Westerners and first adopters in Vietnam, Rooster was busy plucking away at our vision. A vision that wasn’t transplanted from US craft culture but a brand that was entirely Vietnamese and timeless. We designed a brand that fit the culture, that had drinkability at its forefront, simply crushable and local. You want that on ice? Sure… Do it… This is your beer. What is important to us?
