LAC Brewing Co. started in late 2015 by Cuong Dang and Lucas Jans bringing American craft brewing innovation to Vietnam. Our core products are mostly inspired through American West Coast styles with twists of Vietnamese flavors. The name LAC came from the Đông Sơn culture of Vietnam’s lost civilization dated back nearly 3,500 years ago. The Đông Sơn people, who are also known as Lạc or Lạc Việt, were skilled bronze casters which is evidenced by the Đông Sơn drums found widely throughout northern Vietnam. We chose the name in honor of those original craftsmen and artists where their love and dedications to creating original and beautiful arts. Today, LAC is available nationwide. We’re very excited to highlight the country’s most vibrant culture and to celebrate its promising future through quality craftsmanship and experiences.
